Our commitment
MangoKonnect is a social and dating app for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any part of the app. This page explains our standards and how to report a concern.
What is not allowed
- Any sexual or sexualised content involving a person under 18, in photos, videos, voice notes, messages, profiles, chatrooms or Marketplace listings.
- Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to contact or meet a minor for any sexual or exploitative purpose.
- Trafficking, sextortion, or any other exploitation or endangerment of a child.
- Sharing, requesting, advertising or linking to CSAM.
- Using MangoKonnect while under 18. Accounts we find to belong to someone under 18 are removed.
How we enforce these standards
- Age rule: members must be at least 18, as set out in our Terms of Service.
- Reporting in the app: members can report a user, chatroom, message or Marketplace listing from the app at any time, and can block anyone.
- Review and removal: our team reviews reports and prioritises child safety concerns. We remove the content and permanently close the accounts involved.
- Reporting to the authorities: we report confirmed CSAM and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including law enforcement in Nigeria and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we cooperate with their investigations.
- Compliance: we follow the child safety laws and regulations that apply to us and to Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
